An Introduction to the Club

We are affiliated to the English Indoor Bowling Association, Bedfordshire Indoor Bowling Association and London & Southern Counties Bowling Association. LIBC members play in National, County, Club Competitions and friendlies throughout the year.

Luton Indoor Bowling Club (LIBC) was officially opened in October 1988 by Princess Diana and has a membership of approximately 350.

If you are just wishing to give it a go, then why not make contact with us using this link contact@luton-ibc.org.uk and we can arrange to have a member help you with an introductory bowls session one to one at one of the social bowling sessions, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday & Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings.

Don’t forget to bring along your family and friends, and if they need coaching, we can help you with that as well. Just let any of the committee know. But remember the most important thing is to enjoy it and have fun.

We offer 8 newly refurbished rinks with carpet running @ 17 seconds, a large car park plus a bar and function room. We also have facilities for the less abled including rink access points and wheelchairs.

New members, playing or non-playing are always very welcome & membership is open to all.

Note: The youngsters (9 years and over) are also very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

LIBC is committed to equal opportunities for all its members and is currently working with Active Luton group who have a weekly session at the club. If this is of interest contact with us using this link contact@luton-ibc.org.uk
